Eeasingwold Masons Help out Memorial Project at Linton

Forest of Galtres Freemasons visited RAF Linton-on-Ouse recently to present a cheque for £200 to the station commander Group Captain Terry Jones. The money was raised through a Burns night charity auction of a simulator flight in the RAF’s Tucano simulator at the York base. John Tanner-Smith, Master of the Forest of Galtres Lodge 9438 said; “We are delighted to present this cheque to such a noble cause and we would like to say thank you to Group Captain Jones for donating this exciting prize”. The Lodge financially supports a number of local and national good causes through it’s fund raising efforts throughout the year.
